Korpiceia has a very unique political system, with the voting population being the main legislative body and having great control of the country's resources, both in regional and national levels. The elected government is a complimentary body to the [[wikipedia: Initiative|Popular Initiative]], though it can at very special situations have more authority, but such a thing hasn't occured to date. The current Prime Minister is [[Alexios Pyrros]], who was elected in the 2021 elections.
The relations between Korpiceia and its closer neighbours are complicated, but are heavily redrawn in recent times, as Korpiceia had difficulty establishing deep relations due to its economical problems it has been facing for centuries now. The warmest relations would be the ones with [[Sayyed]] and [[Mirhaime]], but recently Korpiceia has been trying to increase its global presence.
The capital, [[Kamareia]], is a city of approximatelly a million people, according to 2020 estimates. It posseses the nations' biggest commercial and touristic port as well as its biggest shipyard and naval military base. It is the center of trade, banking, finance and is the office center for many of the major companies in the country.
The Korpiceian economy is based in two sectors: trading and agriculture, as it has for most of the country's history. Another historical sector would be banking which, while it may not be as mighty as it used to be centuries ago, it is making a resurgence in the last decade, as the country tries to rebuild its economic power, regain stability and become one of the powerhouses in the region.
