'''Kirill Andreyevich Kovalenko''' (born November 14, 1975), also known colloquially as "'''KK'''", is a Volkian former professional ice hockey player and politician who played his entire 18-season [[Volkian Hockey League]] (VHL) career with the Kovdor Falcons from 1993 to 2011. Kovalenko tallied 295 goals and 682 assists, for 977 points, in 1,009 VHL games, ranking him as the Falcons' all-time leading points scorer. He captained the Falcons to their first Polivanov Cup in 2008 and was inducted into the VHL Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.
 
Following his retirement from hockey, Kovalenko was elected to represent Norindzhik Oblast's 1st District in the Chamber of Deputies in 2012, a position he held until 2016. He was then elected mayor of Kovdor and re-elected in 2020. In April 2024 he was selected as the [[Social Democratic Union|Social Democratic Union's]] candidate for the [[2024 Volkian presidential election]].
