'''Kirill Andreyevich Kovalenko''' (born November 14, 1975), also known colloquially as "'''KK'''", is a Volkian former professional ice hockey player and politician who played his entire 1820-season [[Volkian Hockey League]] (VHL) career with the Kovdor Falcons from 1993 to 20112013. Kovalenko tallied 295312 goals and 682712 assists, for 9771,024 points, in 1,009217 VHL games, ranking him as the Falcons' all-time leading points scorer and one of the league's top points scorers. He captained the Falcons to their firsttwo Polivanov CupCups in 2008 and 2012. He was inducted into the VHL Hockey Hall of Fame in 20142016.

Kovalenko was born November 11, 1975 at Makar Demyanenko Memorial Hospital in Poltovka, [[Shimanovsk Oblast]] to Andrei Kovalenko (1949–2018) and Ludmila Trofimova (born 1954) and was raised in the nearby town of Zhitomir. His father played in the VHL for several teams from 1970 to 1986 while his mother is a retired banker.
