'''Kirill Andreyevich Kovalenko''' (born November 14, 19751974), also known colloquially as "'''KK'''", is a Volkian former professional ice hockey player and politician who played his entire 20-season [[Volkian Hockey League]] (VHL) career with the Kovdor Falcons from 1993 to 2013. Kovalenko tallied 312 goals and 712 assists, for 1,024 points, in 1,217 VHL games, ranking him as the Falcons' all-time leading points scorer and one of the league's top points scorers. He captained the Falcons to two Polivanov Cups in 2008 and 2012. He was inducted into the VHL Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016.
 
Following his retirement from hockey, Kovalenko was elected to represent Norindzhik Oblast's 1st District in the Chamber of Deputies in 2012, a position he held until 2014 when he chose to run for mayor of Kovdor. He was elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2020. In April 2024 he was selected as the [[Social Democratic Union|Social Democratic Union's]] candidate for the [[2024 Volkian presidential election]].
