Kaltariezh would enter a period of civil war in 1497 between two members of the Cadoret dynasty vying for control of the throne. Both Kirus and Azenor controlled vast armies and had a relatively equal claim to the throne. In 1501, Azenor married [[Lambertus III|Lambertus III of Staynes]], and combining their forced won the [[Kaltariz Civil War]] by 1505. Lambertus and Azenor's son, [[Lambertus IV]], would inherit rule of the Staynish-Kaltariezh Empire and unified them politically in 1515, forming [[Great Morstaybishlia|Morstaybishlia]]. Kaltariezh contributed to the expansion of Morstaybishlia through the [[Western Auroran Crusades]] from 1523 to 1575 which saw the defeat and annexation of the Kormistazic Empire. Beyond Aurora-proper, Kaltariezh contributed to the expansion of Morstaybishlia starting with the establishment of colonies in [[Arcturia]], [[Gondwana]], and [[The Oan Isles|the Oan Isles]].
