She was admitted to the University of Aura in 1980 and completed her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1984. She started a Master of Laws degree at the same university in 1985. In 1986, she started a Doctor of Laws degree at the University of Rockport which she completed in 1989. In 1990, she started her articles of clerkship at Blythe Chambers.
