The '''House of Debate''' is the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parliament national parliament] of the [[West Borean Federation]]. It sat on the second highest floor (23) of Dar'kana Tower on the island of Zlovskavaar, and ran continuously since the establishment of the Republic in 1919, even during the [[Kotari Occupation of Kyrloth|occupation of Kyrloth by the Kotari Empire]] from 1969 to 1975, up until its destruction on 5 August 2022 by [[Sinter Tass|Tass]] loyalists at the start of the [[West Borean Civil War]]. For the duration of the civil war, the parliament sat in secret [[The Opposition|Opposition]] bunkers on two occasions: once on 9 August to confirm and swear in [[Xhauri Tschanelki'e]] as the new prime minister following [[Gull Hughny|her predecessor]]'s death during the attack on the House, and once on 18 September to ban the political parties that were considered responsible for the war: [[Sinter Tass]]'s [[Soldiers' Guild]] and, controversially, the [[Resource Control Board]].
