==== Secularism ====

Secularism is another crucial principle in hirdism. With Dveirleson in many ways copying Danidatur’s work especially in the extremity of its opposition to religious and spiritual beliefs. Though with hirdism having a nationalistic spin on it which was absent from Danidatur’s work. Rather than promoting modernism and secularism being promoted for the sake of said ideals according to hirdist thought they should be promoted for the sake of strengthening the nation.

Another echo of Danidatur’s work was the ideal of making a “new society” and that nations will be “reborn” through secularism and modernity. In which hirdist thought the “old” nation state will be reborn in a new nation state. In which the new nation state shall have advantage against the old ones by freeing itself from gods and be the masters of its own destiny. Which is seen as important into proving their nation’s superiority over others.

A curious bi-product of hirdist thought is its open promotion to gender equality and tolerance of the lgbtq community. This mainly being the result of its wishes to abolish all traditional and religious ideals. In which includes conservative social norms.
