Hadiat Melani (Born 1953) is a Packilvanian diplomat who is the current Packilvanian ambassador to the International Forum. She served as the Foreign Ministry's Director for Rotantic Affairs from 2013 to 2022. She was selected as the Packilvanian Ambassador to the International Forum by Sultan Thumim V and presented her credentials on 25 May, 2023.

Early Life and Education
Hadiat Melani was born an only child to a wealthy family in Bingol, Packilvania. She studied political science and history at the Sultana Zulayka Women's University, one of the few Packilvanian institutes of higher education open to women at the time. In a 2004 interview, Melani remarked that it had been her father's insistence which kindled her childhood academic pursuits.Due to limited post-graduate opportunities for women in Packilvania, Melani continued her studies at the University of Leidenstad in Cryria, where she would also later spend several years teaching Yasterian history before returning to Packilvania in 1988.

Career
Melani taught at Sultana Zulayk for the next decade and eventually became a tenured professor there. During this period, she frequently worked as a consultant specializing in northern Novaris for the Packilvanian Foreign Ministry. This opening eventually led her to depart her academic career and join the Ministry entirely in 1995.

Melani was initially posted as a cultural envoy to Christie Island. However, in 2000 she became a part of the Sultanate's efforts to rehabilitate its global image regarding women's rights. Due to her background, she was appointed as the Foreign Ministry's Special Envoy for Womens' Education, a position she held for four years.

In 2004, Melani again returned to Christie Island, this time as the Sultanate's ambassador. By 2008, Melani was named the Foreign Ministry's Director of Personnel Management, a powerful if obscure role which oversaw appointments and postings for the bulk of Packilvania's professional diplomatic staff.

In 2013, however, Melani was reassigned as the Director for Rotantic Affairs, amidst a period of bureaucratic power struggles within the Ministry. This remote position was largely seen as a sinecure or a form of exile from more powerful postings. Melani would continue to play an active role however, and often traveled to Cryria and Älemsi Negdel to support various scientific and climate initiatives. She formed an acquaintance with the then-Duchess Saga of Tynam during this time, who allegedly later played a role in Melani's rehabilitation within the Foreign Ministry.

In 2023, the newly proclaimed Sultan Thumim V named Melani as Packilvania's new Ambassador to the International Forum. This role later gained new significance when Packilvania was appointed to the Security Council.
