Line 5: The songs selected in the competition are in Packilvanian, and the three most voted songs are awarded. Other special awards are also given, including the Critics' Award. The Grand Prix of Music has often been used as a method for choosing the Phoenixian entry for the Urthvision Song Festival. It has launched the careers of some of Phoenixia's most successful musical acts, including [[Love and Peace]], [[Jeremy Scott Kate]], [[Chaos Blade]] and ~~Ærthias~~[[Robert Tens Nevermind]]. Since 2021 the music magazine and record agency [[Matango]] has become an official sponsor of the Grand Prix of Music and the new Matango Trials section, where young artists and rookie bands make their debut.
