The Union of Frilandais or commonly referred to as Union of Frilandr was a multi-ethnic federal republic located north of Federation of the Southern Coast of Lapérouse, that came into existence after the Unification Wars and the overthrow of the Queendom of Lapérouse. It was founded by various socialists and democratic factions of the Democratic-Bloc of the Unification Wars, who survived the Monarcho-Socialist coup of the the alliance as well disagreeing negotiating with the Ulvriktru Democrats in the parliament to end the war. The socialists and democratic factions moved to north Lapérouse, to form a multi-ethnic federal republic and in 1920 negotiations was held for the peaceful separation of the two. In 1939 the military of Frilandr, influenced by Einarism moved to coup the country and seize the parliament. The result of the military coup and ethnic tensions resulted in a violent civil war that led to the dissolution of Frilandr. |

Frilandais spilt up into four countries after the civil war, Eyjaria, Pledonié, Nacrésia and Helslandr. The civil war is considered to be pre-Concordian Cold War event but holds direct ties to the start of the cold war. |
