He studied politics and international relations in the Lambertupol University. He became the Labour MP for Cavenstelm in 1991 until 1999 where he became MP for West Lambertupol. He lost his position in the 2005 General Election when Walter Johannes was elected Prime Minister, but remained in the Labour Party as the Shadow Minister of Health until 2012 when he became the MP for Lambertupol again.
