the '''Ethalrian Republic''', officially the '''Republic of Ethalria''' ('''ROE'''; [[Ethalrian]]: ''Republik Ethalrien'') was a state that existed between its formation in 10 August 1975 and the Pipua Coup on 24 May 2017. The Ethalrian Republic was formed after the dissolution of the [[Ethalria (Grand Matriarchy)|Grand Matriarchy of Ethalria]] following the [[Auroran Imperial War]] and followed a presidential system of governance.
During its existence, it bordered and held hostile relations with the [[Ethalria (Matriarchy)|Matriarchy of Ethalria]]; it also bordered [[Great Morstaybishlia]], [[Asilica]] and Kostoria-Obertonia. In a 2016 census there was a population of 35.7 million.
