It bordered (from left to right) the [[Ethalria (Republic)|Grand Republic of Ethalria]], [[Great Morstaybishlia]], [[Kostromastan]], [[Tuvaltastan]] and [[Kostoria-Obertonia]]. In 2014, Ethalria had a population of 97.4 million and a GDP per capita of ♅24,703.
 
Ethalria was a Matriarchy and all government positions were held for women only. The active military of Ethalria, which had 1,957,000 servicewomen and men, comprises of 97.4% women. However, this did not stop men from getting jobs. Men had a 89% employment rate whilst women boasted a 98.2% employment rate.
 
For millennia, Ethalria (formerly ''Ethalried''), under the rule of Kings, dominated the [[Aurora|Auroran]] continent alongside [[Salovia (Disambiguation)|Salovia]], until 1150 where tensions in the [[Valeria|Valerian]] province rose to new heights. This rebellion led to the eventual border change from completely dominating the northern [[Category:Morstaybishlia|Morstaybishlian]] region to having almost no influence 200 years later. If a rebellion had never formed, Ethalria would have likely been the worlds largest colonial superpower today. In 1152, the ruling King was executed in favour for a ruling Queen, because of their tactical inferiority. Since 1152, except for one instance in 1493, Ethalria has remained in hereditary rule by a female, under the title Queen until 1700 until the title Matriarch was adopted. In 1975, the post-war recession crippled Ethalria into two states; the [[Ethalria (Republic)|Republic of Ethalria]] and the Matriarchy of Ethalria. The Grand Republic chose to hold on to the monarchy of Ethalria but the matriarchy did not.
 
Ethalria lost lots of land during the [[Auroran Imperial War]], partially triggered by a sparsely defined border between themselves and [[Caltharus]].
