The Consort of Packilvania (Packilvanian: muZawiji aBakhilfaniya) refers to the senior-most spouse of the reigning monarch of Packilvania. Over the span of Packilvanian history, only four men have ever been Consorts and all of whom were married to the Sultana Regants who ruled during the reign of the Demirite dynasty. Thus, the overwhelming majority have been women. Among the former heads of state of Packilvania, some of the wives of the High Kings and Sultans acted as High Queens and Sultana's Regent usually during the reign of a minor. The reigning Sultana Consort of Packilvania is Saga Bedon (née Tynam) who married Sultan of Packilvania, Thumim V.
Duties and function
The Sultana Consort is the head of the Imperial Court of Packilvania, the body responsible for the support of the functions of the monarchy and imperial Family. Thus, she oversees the running of the palaces and castles in Packilvania which are designated as official residences. She oversees the organisation and execution of important events such as the Coronation and the weddings of Princes. She has the power to set rules of conduct in areas designated as part of the inner court and to judge and dispense punishment for the infractions of those rules. She maintains relations between the Imperial Court and the Council of Ministers of Packilvania through regular engagements and cooperation with the Junior Minister for Imperial Affairs.

One of her most impactful roles is as a statutory member of the Council of State. Thus she has the power to discuss and vote on the removal of a Sultan, the approval of the line of succession, the adoption of rules of succession and the resolution of disputes relating to succession. The Sultana Consort has other duties and functions which arise from tradition. This includes hosting foreign dignitaries who visit the country, attending ceremonial events and overseeing and administering philanthropic efforts on behalf of the monarchy and imperial family through supporting charitable initiatives and patronage of charitable organisations. She is often regarded as exercising soft power on behalf of the Sultan.
