The '''Civic Party''', colliquially known as the '''Civics''' is a [[Wikipedia:Centrism|centrist]] political party in [[Great Morstaybishlia]]. It is the major [[Wikipedia:Big tent|catch-all party]] in Morstaybishlian politics, occupying the political middle ground between the [[Progress Party (MBE)|Progress Party]] and the [[Principles of Democracy Party]]. The Civics formed in 1926, breaking away from the [[MBE Liberals|Liberal Party]] and largely replacing it. It has frequently held the [[Wikipedia:Balance of power (parliament)|balance of power]] in the [[Parliament of Great Morstaybishlia|Morstaybishlian parliament]] when it has not itself been in coalition or in government.
