The first Bynzichians were a collection of tribes that had decided to unify under one leader (around 900 AD) in order to work more efficiently and for better protection against other threats. At this time, the Forerunners had grown a decent amount. The small nation-state encompassed an area of about 500 square kilometers. The Forerunners had discovered the wonders of metalworking, and used this newfound technology to rapidly expand throughout the land. At their extent, they numbered over 100 thousand square kilometers, over double their size. However, the Forerunner's military was stretched quite thin at this time, and they soon collapsed under the pressure of neighboring small states. The Forerunner's conquered land was divvied up and the Forerunners would never return to their glory again.
 
=== Period of Darkness and Confusion (1500-16001800) ===
After the Forerunner's kingdom was split apart, there was much internal conflict over what was left of Forerunner land. This was because the king's heir had died from a disease, and the king was too old to continue his rule. After a week of infighting, the military, with support from its citizens, overthrew the monarchy and established an oligarchy to help govern their lands. The oligarchy would only last a couple years before collapsing, due to increasing resentment among the citizens, and their inability to sustain the economy. The people revolted and overthrew the military junta, and began working on building a democratic system. The democratic system would prove very good at keeping Bynzich's people happy, but it was no good at social order. Crime began to skyrocket, as did corruption. The wealthy would regularly interfere with governmental processes.
