Following the conclusion of the civil war, the remaining Baykalian population, known colloquially as the Sisvir (meaning approximately "The lucky few" in Ancient Kostuvian), formed the nation Baykalia on June 19th, 2006. The minor-to-adult ratio is currently an astonishingastounding 11 to 1. This ratio resulted in the vast majority of the nation to regress back to an agrarian economy. However, the richest provinces of the nation still maintain a standard of living comparable to cities such as Novosibirsk and Nocturne. Due to this extreme income inequality, the Baykalian unemployment rate is technically 95%, and most of the population has begun to participate in homesteading and subsistence farming, and do not participate in the world economy.
