The continental part of current Ayaupia was the first territory to be colonised by early species. Felines, elves and humans arrived at the same time and lived together. However, during an event called the First Species War, which occured in 570 BE, felines kicked out humans and elves from the coast who migrated on the Torusta island. Humans and elves separated, and chose to split in two different nations. This period from 570 to 643 BE is called the "Great Separation".▼

Some of them established themselves into sorts of kingdoms, where there is a chief ''(Cic)'', ruling over the tribe with its family and followers. Others formed into clans, with different "families", where one ruled the others and those paid tribute to them. But most of the tribes kept a "primitive" structure, with no ruler and functioning on communities interacting with each other.▼

Since then, different people started to get the idea of having a wider and larger identity, more than being in a tribe. The idea of consituent nations, where every member of a species would be united under one rule, rose and got more and more impact on the political life of Ayaupia. However, the eve of the 19th century led to a colonial power threatening the land. The [[Salovia|Salovian Empire]] started a conquest of current Ayaupia around 1841, and colonised the Piyecor and Ustacor islands. A coallition of asconian tribes engaged a war against the salovian coloniser, but has been proven unsuccessful, resulting into the complete colonisation of all asconian lands. That has been made possible by an alliance with the palayonians, whom have been promised to stay free by making an agreement. In few months, palayonian tribes were betrayed and colonised by surprise, therefore the colonial power using elves as well as humans to conquer nestonians. During 12 years, tensions rise all across the country, where rebellion spark in many cities and countryside villages. The revolt become an internal war between the natives and the coloniser, but there are conflicts between the three species as well, each of them accusing the other of the defeat against Salovia. In 1857, a treaty is made, giving the northerwestern islands and a part of Palescia to the empire. Various tribes chiefs are unsatisfied and war break up again in 1860. For the last 25 years, the conflicts ends up by the retreat of all colonial power except for a tiny bit in the northwest of today's Palescia province, which will become an important port for Salovia. That land has been given as a deal were it would keep being under salovian rule for 135 years, given back to Ayaupia after that period.▼
