Line 89:
The continental part of current Ayaupia was the first territory to be colonised by early species. Felines, elves and humans arrived at the same time and lived together. However, during an event called the First Species War, which occured in 570 BE, felines kicked out humans and elves who went on the islands. Humans and elves separated, and chose to split in two different nations. This period from 570 to 643 BE is called the "Great Separation".

During the Middle-Ages, the species practice trades and various exchanges, establishing prosperous nations. The species themselves were divided into tribes. Some tribes were fighting or making alliances with each other. In ayaupian history, rivers were seen as the border between a tribe and another, they were the boundaries that stopped a community to go further. Crossing the river was seen as an invasion and was often used to conquer other territories. Some of them established themselves into sorts of kingdoms, where there is a chief "''(Cic)''", ruling over the tribe with its family and followers. Others formed into clans, with different "families", where one ruled the others and those paid tribute to them. But most of the tribes kept a "primitive" structure, with no ruler and functioning on communities interacting with each other.

Despite numerous conflicts, and the evolution of some territories, the state of these various tribes and kingdoms remained unchanged until the 18th century. Since then, different people started to get the idea of having a wider and larger identity, more than being in a tribe. The idea of consituent nations, where every member of a species would be united under one rule, rose and got more and more impact on the political life of Ayaupia. Tribes started to federate under new states, some kingdom formed unions. It is not until the end of the 19th century that the three current countries, Palayonia, Asconia and Nestonia, officialy established themselves.

A nationalist movement took over the countries during the beginning of the 20th century. Each nation had to live in a certain pride of themselves, and considered to be the only legitimate one in the area. The ideology of ruling the island and purifying its territory was a very widespread one, and won the elections in the three countries. A succession of wars and various conflicts then occured, devastating the region. The 20 years wars were do disastrous that at the end in 1948, the three countries decided to make a peace agreement and to federate into a peaceful union. It ended into creating Ayaupia (in ayaupian ''Ayopi'', literally meaning "our nation"), a federal country where each constituent nation has its own rights and administration.
