In 71 CE, King Novor of Cadin met with theKing backingVorsin, son of Soroda, offering to swear loyalty to the KingdomAuravasi ofCrown Auravas,if given supplies and troops to deal with a losing war against the stronger Kingdom of CadinEven. Though many advisors of the crown opposed the support, independentnot seeking to invest the country in namea war already going poorly, but virtuallyVorsin eventually subservientagreed to Novor's offer, sending troops to support Cadin, which would eventually defeat the Evens and emerge victorious. Now possessing a small holding on the island, Vorsin turned his attention to uniting Kalan under his rule, and, supported by the regional nobles in Cadin, removed Novor from power, who wanted to avoid war and focus resources on constructing his new capital, a city that would eventually become Nov Kalan. With complete Auravasi crowncontrol over the Kingdom, Auravas undertook a number of conquests of Kalana, eventually uniting the island in 95 CE.
