Taking office at only age 27, Alane Cáiréas is the second youngest Leáidh in Mirhaimian history, and the first to hail from the Governorate of Uso. In early 2023, she oversaw the passing of the Trinteria Construction Act which addressed long-neglected infrastructure needs, and the funding of social initiatives and healthcare reforms. She also signed the Sciences Development and Fabrication Act (otherwise known as the Athairne Act) for investment into Mirhaime's high-tech manufacturing sectors, and the extraction of rare earth minerals.
In response to a joint Askarabani - Crimpatein invasion of Sayyed, Alane Cáiréas upheld Mirhaime's defence pact with [[Sayyed]] and declared war on the two countries, culminating on a victory in August of 2023. In addition, she also oversaw the deployment of Armada Marines in Aldaar to support the [[Aldaar Defense Forces|Aldaari Defence Forces]] during the [[Aldaari Spring]].
