Line 87:
Al-Jaheed is a transnational extremist Salafist militant organization founded in 1987 by Abu Dahar Al-Salhai, and several other Cagan volunteers during the First Caga Invasion.

Al-Jaheed operates as a network of IslamicPaxist extremists and Salafist jihadists. The organization has been designated as a terrorist group by the Peacekeeping Forces Of Urth, the NSTO (Northern Shield Treaty Organization), League Of Novaris, South Hills, Morstaybishlian Empire, Asendavia, Kasmiyland, and various other countries. Al-Jaheed has mounted attacks on non-military and military targets in various countries, including the 1989 Nacata embassy bombings in Kasmiyland, the Hasni Massacre in 2017 after capturing Litop, and the 2017 York bombings.

Kuthernburg responded to the Latianburg attacks by launching the "War on Terror", which sought to undermine Al-Jaheed and its allies. The deaths of key leaders, including that of Abu Hasuel Al Dueksa, have led Al-Jaheed operations to shift from the top down organization and planning of attacks, to the planning of attacks which are carried out by associated groups and lone-wolf operators. Al-Jaheed characteristically employs attacks which include suicide attacks and the simultaneous bombing of several targets. Activities which are ascribed to Al-Jaheed involve the actions of those who have made a pledge of loyalty to Abu Dahar, or to the actions of "al-Jaheed-linked" individuals who have undergone training in one of its camps in Atiland, Packilvania, Sarentria or Tolria. Al-Jaheed ideologues envision the removal of all foreign influences in Packavinian countries.

Al-Jaheed members believe that an Anti-Kliozun alliance is conspiring to destroy IslmanaPackilvania. As Salafist jihadists, members of Al-Jaheed believe that the killing of non-combatants is religiously sanctioned. This belief ignores the aspects of religious scripture which forbid the murder of non-combatants and internecine fighting. Al-Jaheed also opposes what it regards as man-made laws, and wants to replace them with a strict form of sharia law.

In Latianburg, the group conducted ground attacks on both government forces and opposition factions and by March 2017 it held a large area in western Latianburg and eastern South Hills containing an estimated 1.3 to 2.8 million people, where it enforced its interpretation of sharia law.

Ideology
Al-Jaheed is a theocracy, proto-state and a Salafi or Wahhabi group. It follows an extremist interpretation of IslamPaxism, promotes religious violence, and regards MuslimsPacklians who do not agree with its interpretations as infidels or apostates.

According to some observers, Al-Jaheed emerged from the ideology of the MuslimPax Caliphate. It adheres to global jihadist principles and follows the hard-line ideology of many other modern-day jihadist groups. However, other sources trace the group's roots to Wahhabism.

Salafists such as Al-Jaheed believe that only a legitimate authority can undertake the leadership of jihad, and that the first priority over other areas of combat, such as fighting non-MuslimPaxist countries, is the purification of Islamic society.
