The 2025 Vessarlian General Election was held on 1st May 2025, four years after the previous general election in 2017. It was part of the ordinary election cycle, in which elections are held every four years. In all previous elections the country had used a constituency-based First-Past-The-Post electoral system, however a party-list Proportional Representation electoral system was introduced for this election, alongside the House of Representatives having its number of seats doubled from 461 to 922.
