Polling day began at 00:01 on 14 January 2021. 30,123,870 eligible votes were recorded, which amounted to 76.6 percent of the population; the highest turnout of any preceding Vothetrian general election since they began in 2017 by a 2.2 percent increase.
 
The results were counted overnight after votes closed at 23:59. They were released at midday on 15 January. The Vothetrian Labour Party gained the most seats at 175, a 30 net gain. The [[Vothetrian Workers’Workers' Party|VWP]] gained 27 seats to form a majority government with 227 out of 209 seats required. The Vothetrian Unionist Party lost 35 of their 49 seats, holding on to 14 seats. The Vothetrian Conservative Party lost all of their 23 seats.
 
The VWP took 1 constituency from Labour, whilst taking 6 from the Unionist Party and 21 from the Conservative Party. Labour took 29 seats from the Unionist Party and 2 from the Conservative Party. Both the Unionist and Conservative Parties did not make any net gains, only net losses. The most prolific MP to lose their seat was Marza Leuredofer, who held many Shadow Minister roles in the Unionist Party between 2017 and 2021.
