The '''1888 Volkian presidential election''' was the first [[Volkian presidential election|presidential election]]. It was held on July 9, 1888 under the new [[Constitution of Volkia|Constitution]] ratified on April 17, 1888. [[Aleksey Pushkarev]] was elected to the first of his two terms as [[President of Volkia|president]] and Konstantin Yakushev became the first [[Vice President of Volkia|vice president]]. They were inaugurated on August 136, 1888.
