The National Security and Stable Leadership Act of 2002 (Esteiran: Lei de Segurança Nacional e Liderança Estável de 2002) is an act of the National People's Assembly of Esteira that outlawed opposition parties and provided President Luis Souza with unchecked dictatorial powers. The law was passed in the aftermath of the 2002 coup in Esteira following the 2002 Porto Verde attacks and remains in force.
