Telesat, formally known as the Telecommuncations Company of Packilvania and known in Packilvanian as luChubaal aluTalasaat aBakhilfaniya is a mobile, cable and satellite telecommunications company from Packilvania. It was founded by the Parliament of Packilvania through the Telecommunications Company of Packilvania Act (luKhanon aluChubaal aluTalasaat aBakhilfaniya) in 1990 and signed by Sultan of Packilvania, Amhoud II, in 1990. Its function was to modernise, consolidate and proliferate mobile, cable and satellite telecommunications in the country and to facilitate the development of the internet in the country.
The products that this company produces wireless communications equipment such as WiFi routers, satellite dishes, telecommunications satellites and mobile SIM cards. It also lays undersea and underground internet copper and optic fibre cables in Packilvania. The company provides services such as SMS, mobile and landline calling and internet connectivity and local area network services.
Although the government of Packilvania was the sole owner, it began to privatise starting 1994 by selling shares to companies associated with the Bedonite dynasty and their political allies and economic associates. The company was first put on the Bingol Stock Exchange in 1999 during the reign of Namdun III. In 2006, it was put on the Auroran Stock Exchange in Sani Bursil where it sold for one of the highest initial public offerings of that exchange. The company has continued its role in the country and has begun providing telecommunications services abroad. The company is currently headed by Chief Executive Officer Udwan Shalaav and its chairman is Prince Yadal a-Umhaan Bedon.
