Dylan Syndrome, known more commonly as the Caffeine Disease, is a psychological condition developed by any roleplayer on Urth. Patients diagnosed with this condition have been observed to display increased creative function, faster typing, and the ability to manifest what they are writing in their minds. Patients have also been observed to feel an uncontrollable urge to write and type for at least 12 hours. Dylan Syndrome has never been included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders or DSM, the standard tool for diagnostic of psychiatric illnesses and disorders, mainly due to the lack of a consistent body of academic research.
