The Shield of Democracy is a center-left political party in Auravas. It was formed in the late 1940s, after the pro-war members of the People's Alliance split from the party and founded the SoD. While gaining a few more seats during times where conflict was near Auravas or its interests, the anti-militaristic attitudes of the Auravasi people prevented it from ever gaining major prominence.
