Former International Forum Secretary-General Joanna Hirov

The Hirovite Conspiracy is the name of a conspiracy theory about the 2020 International Forum bombing, during which two Balistrian ambassadors were killed by a bomb planted in their vehicle.

The conspiracy theory states that then-Secretary General of the International Forum Joanna Hirov ordered the death of the ambassadors after they committed numerous breaches in IF conduct, including use of unparliamentary language, harassment of a fellow ambassador, and battery.

Those who adhere to the theory justify themselves through one of two means, positing one or both as source of their belief:

  • The lack of due cause and precedent for such actions by the Army of Progress.
  • Rejection of the belief that the Army of Progress would be capable of such a bombing without insider support.

Proponents of this theory usually exist as a vocal minority online, with small groups on Hirovites on sites such as Pigeon, Oratlayn and, more prominently, 5san. It is often used in a satirical or humorous sense in popular culture, much to the dismay of the more serious believers of the conspiracy, with some attributing it to the a propaganda effort by the so-called 'Established Global Order.'
