Hagen Weldman (born 17 November 1948) is an Auterner horticulturalist, climate scientist and climate advisor, having previously served as a professor of climatology at the Grand Haasbai University after receiving a second doctoral degree for the subject. He currently is employed as a policy advisor and climate consultant at the Centre for Auterner Climate Awareness, and previously contributed to the Niehaven Pamphlet for the Future, a work commissioned by the Provincian Government to explain and advocate for the necessary preparations for the effects of climate change in Western Yasteria.

Weldman is most known for his role in the Yasterian Gardener's Society (YGS), which he chaired from 1987 to 20011. In his capacity as Chair and major contributor to the Society, Weldman ran a number of initiatives in order to improve the accessibility of horticulture and provide a "more open, friendly environment" within the YGS, which had previously been accused of elitism. In eastern Vistaraland, Weldman's work is partially credited with a revival in interest for community gardens in public green areas, as well as gardening at home. This became known as the Jonge Tuinman (lit.'Young Gardener') movement, and remained extremely popular throughout the 90s and early 2000s, inspiring the creation of a number of public parks and green spaces.

Something which Weldman put in place during his tenure that remains today is The Gardener's Guardian, an online newspaper which provides daily advice, news and more accessible versions of scientific studies relating to gardening and agriculture in several different languages. Weldman has additionally written a number of influential works himself, including both scientific papers which often appeared on the YGS-owned newspaper, as well as a number of books detailing and highlighting the role of gardening in people's lives, as well as guides on a wide range of techniques used in growing and maintaining plant life, from the basics to several technical and advanced methods used around the globe.
