The Puffin saw the doors open and walked in to his Office, thoroughly enjoying his re-election. Cameras and photographers everywhere, it was a chaos equal to the Fishmonger bomb letters from 4 months ago. Being accompanied by his staff and seeing government officials already standing in the room, he took is seat at the large Caek-shaped desk. Flashes stopped and a small light indicated quickly that the Puffin was live.

Citizens of The East Pacific,

Today I have the honor of addressing you, the life and blood of TEP, as your re-elected Delegate. A happy and thankful one, thankful to receive your trust and support for another 4-month term.

His Puffiness folded his hands and looked calmly in to the camera. That idiotic teleprompter had decided to take a vacation again.

Ending my latest term, I identified some key points that I wanted to give my full attention in a next term. These things are vital to ensure a continued active and successful TEP. I want to ensure that the EPNS and EPPS get on track for once and for all and quickly steps will follow to enhance the structure and laws of the Executive. The purpose of this is to streamline TEP's activity, bolster the effectiveness of government as a whole and involve even more people on a permanent basis. I am lucky enough to be able to build further on a lot of work done already over the last term and I have yet more energy to pour in to this. TEP will prevail and it will stand upright as the fantastic region it is!

Getting up to speed, the Puffins eyes flashed fiery, reflecting on his shiny orange-striped beak. During elections, some issues have arisen regarding the voting procedures and I observed some friction, from time to time, between our various branches. I think we all know very well what I'm talking about. The Identity Act, the Voting act, the Term limit act. The Magisterium, the Conclave and the Executive are all being very involved at the moment. It's obvious to me that this is related to the more volatile period of debates we just came out of. It's normal that we assess ourselves, our positions and our institutions, standing our ground in what all seem very important issues.

Yet, remember. In all of this, nothing is more important than you yourself. Because you, and it doesn't matter to whom I address myself here because we all are, you are a dedicated member of TEP. One that has put many hours and effort in to every byte of this place. You can honor that dedication and effort with the decisions you make and the words you put down in that box at the end of every thread, every single day. And the post that appears will shape the experience of every single one of your fellow TEP'ers and the future of TEP as a whole. This is what matters. This is what stays. It should never, ever, do injustice to what was build by others and the efforts you made yourself.

I am your Delegate, and I will lead the way. I will help and guide. Console and share. I am alongside you for the fun, the laughs and curiosities of everyday TEP life.

And together, we make the region of a lifetime. Let's face it, where else will we ever find Caek?

By now, the stern-looking Puffin was standing upright in his office chair, having orated the last part of his speech with messianic conviction. He re-took his seat, put his feathers somewhat decent and uttered a last 'Thank you and good night' before the streaming stopped.

After the usual comities, the Office emptied and the Puffin went for a well deserved drink..
