Eduardo Augusto Resendes (September 1, 1944 – April 4, 2002) was an Esteiran politican who served as the Commissioner of the Aguande Departmental Council from 1986 to 1991 and as a Representative to the National People's Assembly from 1991 until his assassination in 2002. He was a prominent member of the National Liberal Party and candidate in the 2001 Esteiran presidential election; his criticism of Luis Souza before and after Souza had become president launched Resendes to national prominence.

While unconfirmed, it is widely believed that Souza ordered Resendes' assassination in 2002.
