Drakaland, officially the Republic of Drakaland, and colloquially known as Drakathiuda (in Drakanic) is a landlocked country in Central Aurora, lying within the Bolvinian Plateau. Lärchefurt is its capital and largest city. Drakaland is bordered by Staynes to the north and west, North Ethalria to the northeast, Faethalria to the east, and Sarentria to the south. Populated by 22.7 million with a land area exceeding half a million square kilometers of mostly uninhabited tundra, Drakaland has a sharp distinction between the desolate north and the urban south, with rural, arable land mottled within. Ethnic Ethalrians make up about sixty percent of the population, with Drakanic making up most of the rest. Human, cava and elf split the nations' species fairly evenly.
