The Crown Prince of Packilvania (Packilvanian: muMamlukmne muBas aBakhilfaniya, literally the Great Prince of Packilvania) is the highest ranking Prince and heir apparent of Packilvania. The last incumbent was Prince Thumim, but now the position is vacant.

This is the person most likely to succeed the incumbent Sultan of Packilvania. This title is not granted automatically. The Sultan can only appoint someone who is an adult. Heirs presumptive cannot be appointed to this position. An heir presumptive is the highest person in the line of succession who would lose their place if someone is born who ranks above them. For example, if the Sultan has no children, but he has a brother, his brother will be the heir presumptive because if the Sultan has children, his brother will move down the line of succession. As such, he would be ineligible to be the Crown Prince.

The Crown Prince is typically the highest rank person in the ceremonial Packilvanian order of precedencen after the Sultan and the Sultana even above the Prime Minister of Packilvania and all other Princes of the Imperial Family. The Crown Prince is typically the highest-rank adviser of the Sultan followed by the Prime Minister. The Crown Prince sits and votes in meetings of the Council of Ministers of Packilvania but he does not occupy a specific portfolio. The Crown Prince is the ex officio Chairperson of the Council of State of Drakkengard (this is the Council that oversees succession to the Crown of Drakkengard). He was given this position in order to ensure that the successor to the Throne of Packilvania had a vested interest in the succession to the Throne of Drakkengard as well to prevent the Drakken Council of State from changing the line of succession in such a way that the two monarchies would split.

Most former Sultans and High Kings of Packilvania have been Crown Princes. Sultanas Regnant (which have only ever existed under the Demirite dynasty) have never been Crown Princesses in their own right because the line of succession worked in such a way that at most they could only be heiresses presumptive. The spouse of the Crown Prince gets the title of Crown Princess. Since the Bedonite dynasty took over the country after the defeating the Packilvanian Communist Party in 1985, the Crown Princes of Packilvania have also been the Crown Princes of Drakkengard, simultaneously. The first two Crown Princes under the Bedonite dynasty (Amhoud II and Namdun III) were also the Prime Minister of Packilvania. The positions split off because Prince Thumim was too young to be the Crown Prince when his father became the Sultan. Usually the Crown Prince will exercise some work on behalf of the Sultan on an ad hoc basis.

In cases where a Crown Prince has been appointed, he automatically acts as the Regent (acting head of state) when the Sultan is temporarily unable to exercise his duties. The Deputy Crown Prince advises and assists the Crown Prince in the exercise of his duties and can be delegated responsibilities by the Crown Prince. This position is presently occupied by Prince Abuyin. The government provided funding for the Crown Prince in the exercise of his duties and pays him a yearly stipend of 4 million Kirib. He does not have an official residence, and simply uses the Bingol Royal Palace for official duties. He has a dedicated albeit small staff responsible for supporting him in the exercise of his duties. Ever since Namdun III appointed him Crown Prince, Prince Thumim has always lived at the Sultana's Palace with his mother Sultana Mebri.
