The Chancellor was the head of government of the former United Republic of Cappedore, and also served as the most senior member of cabinet. The position was established in 1991 after the Great Reform Act 1990, which added a new tangents to the executive and legislative branches of the Cappedorite government (the cabinet and the Gemotern). It was abolished in 2023, after the concordat was repealed by the new Wealdenite government.
