Cavellan, officially the Republic of Cavellan, is a sovereign state in West Novaris. It is located east of Volscina, west of Viratia, Venosta, Castralanza, and Celanora, and north of Seccera. Its capital is Nervino.
Cavellan was originally founded as a distinct political entity as a march of the Celanor Empire to guard the border with Volscina after the Voslcine Revolt. Cavellan was eventually annexed by Volscina, under which it retained its status as a kingdom. It would remain part of Volscina for the next several centuries until the Volscine Civil War in 2002, at which point Cavellan seceded, annexed some of its neighbors, and declared itself Nuova Volscina. Nuova Volscina was itself couped in 2020 by Guerino Correvaci who renamed the country Correva after himself. The resulting civil instability led to the collapse of his regime and the occupation of the country by the League of Novaris until 2022, when a new government and constitution was formed.
