Public protesting and demonstrations exploded all across Nystatiszna few short weeks after Ingrid the Reclaimer was coronated. Believing that the new found Empress will defend their ability to protest. The protests were primary issues centered around the Nystatiszna military, such as the recent military spending increase, desegregation of the military and end to conscription. However a large and vocal minority are requesting the complete de-militarization, blocking railway to Teieleie and removal Nystatiszna Intelligence Bureau from public life. The protests are primary driven by religious groups, with shrines and temples providing aid to the protesters.

The protests started in 30th of January 2022, primary lead by two members of the chamber of nobility Victoria Engebretsen and Mathias Sæther with assistance from brewmasters.

Protests consisted of peaceful demonstrations and rallies, with brewmasters from shrines nearby policing the varies demonstrations.

Prime Minister vs Crown Response

The first government response was one of mixed support and aggression to the protesters with PM Ayo Hoshi stating while he supported the right to protest, the blocking of Teieleie is a gross miscalculation behalf of the protesters. Stating that the government of Nystatiszna has a duty to support it's Compact allies in removal of its terrorist groups.


Ingrid the Reclaimer on the other hand, announced her overwhelming support for the protesters. Stating she will take the requests of her people and will have sit down with PM Hoshi about the failure in communication between the Crown and the Government.
