The 2023 Staynish Grand Prix (officially known as the Series 1 Burgendyk Staynish Grand Prix 2023) was a Series One race held on 26 February 2023 at the Staynes International Circuit, a dedicated motor racing circuit in Bluebells, located in central Staynes. It was the season opener of the 2023 Series One World Championship.
The race began at 15:00 local time on 26 February and lasted for 52 laps. All twenty cars pulled away from the grid without incident and Marlan Kalming began to pull out a steady lead. On lap 34, the Bernitti-Domio of Vistari driver Pablo Saez encountered an engine failure, and began to slow at the first corner. His teammate, Marchello Bellini, was following close behind and was unable to react in time. The two cars collided, launching Saez into the gravel trap and spinning Bellini across the track and over the pit exit, into the path of Syrtæn'at rookie Azznup-Øtsypflæ, causing terminal damage to his Gyllir PK049 chassis, and setting the Series One record for shortest distance covered on a set of tyres (300 metres). Following the resulting Virtual Safety Car, there were twelve laps of racing remaining; at the end, Kalming won his home race for the first time since returning from retirement. Mitch Noxal, newly promoted from Marchitelli Falcon, finished second, earning Spiiker's best start to a season in the modern era.
