The 2020 Vistari University Elections were a series of by-elections occurred to resolve the vacancies within the House of Representatives brought about by the creation of new seats by the Fakker-Adkin University Act, which was granted Imperial Assent on the 29th of September, 2021. The act stipulated the creation of seats in the Lower House to represent Twelve Universities and University Networks across Vistaraland, to be elected before the end of the year. Both the Vistari Government and the Formal Opposition organized primaries to be held in the month of October, with the elections to be held the month after the last primary, two months after the Act was given assent.

University Elections were an untested process in Vistari politics, with the introduction of University Communities as extra-provincial constituencies being one advocated for by the Rational Association during the 2020 Vistari general election. Many had predicted such a policy would not be enacted after the Rational Association failed to make it into government, however discussions of the policy between the Baas Government and the Rational Association throughout 2021, finding to policy mutually amicable.
