The 2019 Za'lyr'zna Presidential Election occurred on the 21st of June, with the second round taking place on the 9th in the next month. It followed the end of term for the Da'yn-Øzna (Traditional: Кё-ιп-Щяё), a former member of the Royal Family of the Kingdom of Kæra who had presided over a relatively stagnant period for the region following the aftermath of the Za'lyr'zna Archive Fires. Following taking second place in the first round of voting,
Liberal Renewal Leader Dyr'yf-Tsøka (Traditional: Кιч-ιб-Ющфё) defeated Silent Majority Candidate Fezn’æt Øfesak’fa (Traditional: Бyя-eэ-Щбyтёф-бё) in the second round to become Minister-President for the region, one of the three Heads of State for Syrtænzna. In spite of this, many took note Øfesak’fa had gained 34.6% of the vote - over a third - which marks the most successful the Pro-Kæra separatist Silent Majority has performed in the region's Presidential Elections. This was deemed, in part, to the former supporters of the banned Myopia Coalition, a former Læsic Party that was forcefully disbanded and banned following heavy-handed reprisals against followers of Læsism for the religion's links to the alleged perpetrators of the archive fires as well as increasing dissolution amongst the voters of the Folkist Socialists with the current administration of Syrtænzna/ This has caused some FS voters to take a more radical stance in Presidential Elections, following Minister-President Da'yn-Øzna having been unsuccessful in restoring faith in the national identity of Syrtænzna after the Anti-Az'ra species riots in Toryne'yn in 2011.
Even in spite of this, no parties gave any form of endorsement to Fezn’æt Øfesak’fa, except for the Silent Majority, with the Folkist Socialists in word supporting Dyr'yf-Tsøka following the defeat of FS candidate Zhyþ-Røky (Traditional: Жιδ-Чщфι), though many in the party who were originally vocally supportive of Zhyþ-Røky's campaign remained quiet during the period between the two rounds of elections, despite the party usually taking a very negative view towards Kæra'zna. This dulling of support forced Dyr'yf-Tsøka to rely on his own supporters as well as those who had voted for Unitary Progressive candidate Al’ar Eleris, as well as a group of swing voters who feared becoming a Kæra satellite state should the Silent Majority take the Presidency.
