=== 1500s Early Norgsveltian influence ===
By the mid 1500s Norgsveltian merchants and tradesmen from the Kingdom of Novreheim set several trading ports in Northern parts of Ymirland. Attempts to convert the natives to AsatruUlvriktru was done, but other than influencing culture in lingual practices, it had little success converting them. A cultural merger of Akuanism and Norgsveltian AsatruUlvriktru happened in the largest town of modern day Kyinster.

Norgsveltian trading ports became a source of large financial growth, and trade for not just Norgsveltians but also other traders in the region. Acting as a resupply point for many traders heading to western Novaris and back. As such a small Norgsveltian fleet was established on the port to fight against pirates in the region that’s affecting trade in the region.

=== 1781 Norgsveltian colonization, renaming of the peninsula to Ymirland ===
During Wars of AsatruUlvriktru religion the Norgsveltian king Gustaf II sent its military to secure the trading ports in Ymirland, and created the Crown Colony of Ymirland, under the colonial governance of Ivar Tolvstat, a elven Norgsveltian noble which had connectections with native elite and Norgsveltian merchants. By 1790 Norgsveldet had taken over all of modern Ymirland, and became crucial to competing with Morstaybishlia for influence in the region.

The colonization efforts were fought back by protests and by Ny'Sænuri by more violent measures when forced religious policies started to be implemented. Which was met with overwhelming violence from both sides.

1792 Religious policies and development in Ymirland

Under Ivar Tolvstat far further attempts in converting the natives into AsatruUlvriktru, by far more forceful means than before. Being held at gunpoint (metaphorically but also literally at times) many Akuanists did officially convert but most practiced Akuanism in private. The Norgsveltian Crown built large infrastructure projects in the country with many Norgsveltian settlers moving into the land, many being elven nobles. By the 1850s Ivar Tolvstat ended the religious policy of Ymirland at the request of King Varg III. Allowing Akuanist religion to flourish to the fullest with even some Norgsveltian settler communities on Ymirland converting to Akuanism.

When the forced religious policies ended, so did the violence from the Ny'Sænuri clans. Who withdrew back into their wilderness fortresses. The blend of the two religions was quite common even in other colonies. Meaning Ymirland was not the outliner when it came to the Akuanism-AsatruUlvriktru relations, in most cases the religions often cohabited the same spaces.
