In 1267, Korćetta gained independence from [[Liesvozia]] in the [[Kaskada Succession War]]. Shortly after the war, the king of Korćetta ordered the destruction of the old [[Liesvozia|Liesvozian]] capital, now modern day Portmorski. During this time Silvists began to destroy old Liesvozian churches in an attempt to consolidate the Silvist religion in the nation.
Before the formation of Cascadii in 1267, the region of [[Kaskada]] was occupied by a large kingdom, [[Liesvozia]]. After the [[Liesvozia|Liesvozian]] Golden Age the kingdom entered an age of low stability. This age of low stability is called the Foggy Age, as little is known about the age due to the destruction of written documents by the humans. During this age the [[Silvism|Silvist]] religion started growing among humans living in the nation. The humans, believing in human supremacy, started rioting against the government for being ruled by an “inferior species”. The riots turned into massacres as humans started killing other species in the name of their goddess Wszechświat. It all came to a head when in 1267 a human led coup was held against the [[Liesvozia|Liesvozian]] government. The coup was successful and the humans installed a [[Silvism|Silvist]] government run by King Jodła I. The nation was renamed to Cascadii, a Codexianized version of the name of the region [[Kaskada]]. The full name of this new nation was the First Silvist Kingdom of Cascadii.

During the Third Kingdom period, the Theocracy of Silv, now [[Auravas]], experienced a revolution. This revolution resulted in a democratic government being installed. This gave idea of a revolution against a authoritarian government to the people of Korćetta. In 1771 [[The Great Revolt]] started. [[The Great Revolt]] lasted until 1783 and resulted in the Silvist Kingdom of Korćetta being replaced with the Republic of Korćetta.
Cascadii started out with almost all the land [[Liesvozia]] had owned prior, except [[Joralesia]] and [[Zemeprievadai]], who declared their independence when the coup succeeded. Cascadii’s golden age came soon after it’s founding. After this age the nation would be in a steady decline for centuries. The Golden Age is only called so because of the amount of land and wealth the nation had, on the inside however things were not great. After King Jodła I’s coronation he forced all species other than humans to flee the nation or die. This led to humans being the only species in the nation, although the provincial government of [[Stražsko]] did not enforce this and kept non-human species under their protection. In the year 1312 the nation went into debt and was forced to rely on other nations for money. This led to the end of the Golden Age and the start of the Age of Change.
After being elected in 2021, [[Aleksy Niezgoda]] called for a new constitution to be drafted for the nation. This new constitution included removing the ban of non-human species from the nation alongside other reforms. This caused a surge of immigration of non-human species. Shortly after in 1339 the monarch of Zemeprievadai died, and having no other children to take the throne other than the heir that married the now queen of Cascadii, when the heir to the Zemeprievadai throne rose to power it formed a personal union between Cascadii and Zemeprievadai. This new nation was called [[Cascadii-Parthus|Cascadii-Zemeprievadai]]. This new nation had a lot of infighting, and then in 1621 the nation dissolved back into Cascadii and Zemeprievadai after decades of infighting. Only now the nation of Cascadii was reduced to what it is now, without [[Stražsko]] as they declared independence when <nowiki>[[Cascadii-Zemeprievadai]]</nowiki> dissolved.

In 1635 Cascadii found new fertile land after exploring the Sea of Gondwana. They were looking to become a great empire like they had been before. After this happened Cascadii got deterred from colonizing any more. They didn't want to lose land to any more major powers, so they stayed off of the world stage and started to mind their own thing.

The [[Second Cascadyjski Civil War]] was started in 2021, when the government banned the monarchist party because of rising popularity. The government of Wodnyziemia rose up against the Cascadii government. The Cascadii government has much less troops than Wodnyziemia. Wodnyziemia was winning battle after battle, but when the troops realized that this government was the same as the old Cascadii government they rose up and formed the Reformed State of Lasówkrania. Lasówkrania had many more troops than both Cascadii and Wodnyziemia combined. Lasówkrania was easily able to win the war, but not without casualties. [[Nystatiszna]], who was fighting on the side of Wodnyziemia destroyed the coastal area of the nation, making it uninhabitable to Lasówkrania citizens, this area was named the [[Great Dead Man's Zone]].
